In fact,the suspension polymerization of the styrene is a bulk polymerization which takes place in the styrene oil layer.The heat that generated from the polymerization will be first transported to the jacket by the water and then move out of the reactor with the cooling water.
When the styrene transformation reaches to 75%(when heating up for 4.5hours),with the condition of heating up and the pressurization,the foaming agent will infiltrate into the polystyrene beads,then the EPS resin will be generated ater a certain time(about 3 hours).

1.Discharge the material
After finishing the impregnation and polymerization,reduce the temperature slowly to the normal temperature, then discharge the material into the middle tank.

1.Centrifufal dehydration
To make the futher drying much more convinent, remove most of the EPS resin suface water by centrifufal dehydrating.

1.Drying by the cyclone separator
After centrifugal dehydration,about 1% moisture will still on the EPS resin beads surface,this situation makes it difficut to the producing process.When drying,the temperature of the hot wind is 50～60℃, the steam pressure of the heating device is about 0.2Mpa.
This drying process adapts air flowing drying.When hot air flowing with the speed of 16～20m/s,the remaining moisture will evaporate into the air,then the mixture of the air and the solid beads goes into the cyclone separator.With the action of the centrifugal force,the beads fly to the inner wall of the reactor
and knock up against with it,then the speed of the beads slows down and finally the beads fall down and go into the filter;while with the help of high flowing speed of the air,the moisture and the hot air flow to the upside of the ractor.
Using the cooling air to cool down the material dried from by the hot air to reduce the steam,to reach the goal of bringing down the moisture and easy for sieving.
